A new year, a new challenge. Since I read exclusively historical fiction anyway, I’m going to join Historical Tapestry’s 2014 Historical Fiction Reading Challenge. Motivation is always best from the outside, for me at least!  I wonder what I’ll be able to accomplish this year. I’ve already read one, so I’m halfway to a 20th century reader, YES! I challenge myself to the medieval level….let’s see if I can mange it! Anyone want to join in?

Renaissance Reader – 10 books
Medieval – 15 books
Ancient History – 25 books

So far this year, I’ve read Escape from Paris by Caroline Hart, and The Daring Ladies of Lowell by Kate Alcott. Currently reading Wolfsangel by Liza Perat, and my next review book is the upcoming prequel (to The Bronze Horseman) by Paulina Simons, Bellagrand. Not a bad start to the year.
